Cylinder head conversion for gas operation mode

There are many advantages to a conversion from conventional fuels to alternative fuels, such as Autogas. However, mostly it is just a conversion to "gas", with no offer to prepare the engine for the gas. With this offer, we can show you how the stability of the cylinder head can be improved.

In gas, the valve seat rings are much stronger stressed compared to OTTO - fuel mode. Therefore they get worn immensely. The resulting engine damage, such as compression pressure or burnt valves are often very expensive.

We offer you the opportunity to improve the cylinder head before or restore your already damaged cylinder head.

The work in detail

• Conversion of lead-free valve seat rings to gas suitable seat rings. It is recommended to change the intake as well as exhaust seat rings.
• In case of need, the valves of older engines will be regrinded or renewed and the valve guideway checked.
• The cylinder head sealing surface will be planned as needed. This step is usually for engines with low mileage.
• A pre and post cleaning of the cylinder head will be done of course.
